SOM Accreditation Fund

    SOM Accreditation Fund

SOM needs accreditation in order to establish much stronger credibility as many competitor schools have one or more accreditations. Accreditation will also allow us to regularly rank programs such as the MBA and DBA - high rankings do lead to an increase in demand from high-quality students (and faculty) candidates.

The cost of accreditation is not cheap - and a one-off cost of USD 30,000 would be sufficient for one of the three accreditation agencies to evaluate SOM and, if the initial evaluation is successful that will help our MBA and DBA programs become ranked globally, SOM should gain accreditation within 18 months to four years. After that, SOM would pay the annual accreditation costs and renewal of whichever accreditation we might be able to achieve (renewal usually takes place every 3-5 years). AIT will pay the initial amount required to ensure that an application by AIT has a good chance of success. This donation is for costs incurred over a 3-5 year period where accreditors review the school.
